Uniting the country after terrorist attack

The deepest condolences goes to the victims of New Zealand terrorist attack earlier this month caused by anti-Muslim prejudice.

After the attack, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said in the parliment, “Speak the names of those who were lost rather than the name of the man who took them. He may have sought notoriety but we in New Zealand will give him nothing – not even his name.” It is a reflection of her commitment and determination of help the victims in the attack, as well as her bravery of standing against the terrorist. Instead of polarizing the society and stirring hatred, Ardern has chosen to unite the country with love and compassion.
