All set for the Antarctic Climate Expedition 2023 led by Dr Sylvia Earle, serving as Key Opinion Ambassador and Steering Committee Member.
At the expedition, I will be the only Hong Kong representative among the team of 100+ international ocean and climate researchers, policymakers, educators, artists and writers from different nationalities, age and backgrounds.
Our interdisciplinary team genuinely hopes the Antarctic Climate Expedition can shed light on the critical role of ocean on climate change mitigation, adaptation and resilience. My individual focus will be elevating the voice of Asian women in ocean-related climate action.
The expedition will take place during 13-24 Feb 2023, setting off from Ushuaia of Argentina on the new carbon neutral ship named after Dr Sylvia Earle, operated by Aurora Expeditions. We will return from King George Island to Punta Arenas of Chile.
Hereby expressing my deepest gratitude to all key sponsors and partners for supporting the Antarctic Climate Expedition, amplifying the voice of Asia in accelerating ocean conservation for climate change mitigation, adaptation and resilience.

Thank you Dr Rebecca Lee, Professor KC Lam and Dr George Ma and Jan Chan for their blessings before the expedition. I will strive to pass on the legacy of my childhood inspiration Dr Lee on this mission, endeavouring to advance climate education in Hong Kong and Asia.

Look forward to sharing my learnings and reflections with the audience post-expedition! Open for any creative ideas to raise awareness on ocean conservation and climate change for this expedition! Feel free to leave me a question, a support message or an idea to execute in Antarctica!
