Super Typhoon Saola is sweeping across cities in Southern China, severely impacting Hong Kong today.

This serves as a reminder of the urgent climate crisis, as climate change continues to intensify tropical storms. Heavier rainfall and stronger gusts result in more destructive flash floods and coastal damage, which in turn affect livelihoods and communities.

I am excited and humbled to join the Prestige 40 Under 40 Class of 2023 as a climate advocate, alongside a diverse and talented group of laureates from various backgrounds. Thank you Prestige for giving voice to the pressing climate crisis as a leading monthly lifestyle, social and fashion magazine with 30 years of history.
